The Huron County Safety Council has proven to be a very valuable resource for our company over the past six years. The monthly meetings with other local area businesses have given us the opportunity to share experiences that make managing safety issues within our company much easier. These meetings have also helped in providing links to outside resources such as the Bureau of Workers Compensation and safety consultants that help us understand and comply with OSHA regulations. Not only has the council been a valuable tool, but our company has benefited from Workers Compensation rebates and incentive programs due to our membership and participation in the Huron County Safety Council. As our safety manger, I will keep the Huron County Safety Council as a primary resource for any future safety information needs.

Huron County Safety Council - Injury Prevention / Safety Training Grants
Each year, employers spend millions of dollars on work-related injuries and illnesses. The HCSC believes prevention of injury and illness is the smartest way to do business and the best practice in the care of our county workforce. The HCSC will be awarding quarterly grants to the selected HCSC businesses that fill out the application. Please click here to view detailed information and the application.

Members are expected to attend their division meeting.
If a topic scheduled for another division pertains to your company, and space permits, you may send a representative in order to take advantage of that presentation, however, under normal circumstances, members are required to attend the appropriate division meeting.
In all cases, RSVP is required.
Members may attend more than one of the councils monthly sessions; however, under no circumstances will any member receive more than one attendance credit regardless of the number of sessions attended in any given month.
